So we also have to configure the internalURL property. When Outlook connects to the Client Access Server it determines whether it is an internal or an external connection. When you have a client with Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010 that’s a domain member then the client checks the SCP for configuration information. For every Client Access Server in your Exchange organization an SCP is created in Active Directory.

Having received an overwhelming amount of questions on this first article, I guess its time for a second one, this time taking a closer look at more configuration information.
